Taking the listener through the streets of Europe, 2 0 2 5 is both tender and taught, satiated with mystery, romance and an ultimate destination of high-energy joie de vivre. Influenced by the thriving underground club scenes of Texas and a personal fascination with both musique concrète and pop production, 2025 is the artist’s most confident release to date.

Releasing 2025 on Election Day, Tuesday November 8 was an intentional response to one of the more frightening times in modern political history. With an overwhelming cry of disillusionment, the Color of Sin (2025) reveals the basis for the album’s title as the artist personifies America through a lover’s eyes, promising to leave and never look back. Sung over soundbites from both presidential candidates Saakred reflects on the current and potential future, urging America to put the “flowers in the guns and walk away”. Though quite known for their use of political imagery, 2025 is an intentional push out of politics into a new genre of dance, electronica, and even classical composition. With highly danceable moments such as the portuguese-disco drama SÅØZINHØS or the delightfully European techno h-a-b-i-i-b-i , 2025 promises a new era.
